Agrotourism as a tourism phenomenon

The thesis is focused on agrotourism, which is a frugal kind of tourism, behaves to the nature, so that it burdened the least and thus support a sustainable tourism development. The aim is to describe the area of agrotourism. Theoretical part describes in detail the concept of agrotourism and explains its meaning and importance, comparing the Czech touristic environment with the foreign one, describes the institutions that operates in the agrotourism and rural tourism. The practical part is made up of a questionnaire survey, which determines whether people have the notion of tourism in the consciousness or what they mean by this term and what is their position to the agrotourism. Furthermore, the observation method is used, which describes in detail two farms. It is a farm Ko ík and a farm Zababe .
